Blending journalism and art to tell the whole story.

My goal as an emerging storyteller — to capture not only the facts, but also the feeling behind them. Through developing my skills in writing, photography, and investigative reporting, I strive to create stories that inform, inspire, and connect with people on a deeper level.

What I Do

I’m committed to learning and mastering the craft of storytelling across multiple mediums — from journalism and photography to creative writing. By exploring diverse opportunities and real-world experiences, I continue to refine my voice, expand my skills, and grow as an emerging storyteller.

I Explore.

I dig beneath the surface to uncover stories. My curiosity drives me to research deeply, ask meaningful questions, and seek out perspectives that reveal the full truth.

I Capture.

Through photography, I preserve moments that speak louder than words. Each image is a visual narrative, capturing the emotion, context, and detail that bring a story to life.

I Write.

From journalism to poetry, short stories to song lyrics, I craft stories that connect people to ideas, experiences, and each other. My words aim to inform, inspire, and spark conversation.

My Story

I’m a native New Yorker, born to first-generation Afro-Caribbean American parents, and raised on a strong foundation of family, faith, and forward movement. My love for storytelling began early — writing poems, crafting lyrics while practicing piano, and producing school assignments with a depth beyond my years. Along the path to becoming an Eagle Scout, I discovered photography and a commitment to serving others. Now, as a student at Hampton University, I’m building on that foundation through programs that sharpen my skills, grow my talents, and give back to my campus community.

I Did a Thing

During New York Fashion Week, I had the honor of serving as a guest student curator for Fly meet Swag² meet Drip — a dynamic art exhibition celebrating the legacy of Black and Brown boyhood style. Held at Eagle Academy in Harlem, the school was transformed into a vibrant gallery of Black art, culture, and self-expression.
For my contribution, I created Digital Dandies — a continuous video presentation streaming on dozens of monitors throughout the exhibition space. My piece explored the evolution of Black dandyism, from its roots as a form of resistance and cultural pride to its reinvention in the digital age. Through imagery, fashion, and cultural references, I aimed to show how style is more than just clothing — it’s a living archive of identity, creativity, and legacy.
